About the Organization

In today’s world, home to over seven billion people, about one billion go to bed hungry every night. Food, a fundamental human necessity, often needs to receive the attention and value it deserves. With increasing populations, climate change, limited water resources, and the complex land use issue, the need for better food security becomes increasingly important. Tay Juhana Foundation (TJF), a non-governmental organization, understands the urgency of taking immediate action to address this global challenge.

TJF, driven by a team of energetic and innovative young professionals, is dedicated to developing effective strategies, conducting pioneering research, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices on suboptimal lands, particularly peatlands. Suboptimal land which covers ⅔ of Indonesia’s land area becomes an opportunity for solving the food problem and increasing our food security. Part of increasing local food security is by developing aquaculture in the coastal ecosystem.

We are looking for motivated individuals who share our commitment to making a difference. Join our dynamic team in Jakarta as a Program Officer for Aquaculture and be a part of the change for these critical causes.
